Sleep King is specifically designed for restful and refreshing sleep. It contains 5 different nutrients targeting different aspects of insomnia, including GABA, L-Theanine, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin B6, and Melatonin. GABA (also known as Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) and L-Theanine are both for the initiation of sleep. They work together in calming the restless mind and reducing the activities of neurons in the brain for sleep to take place. Both these nutrients target the same receptors in the brain to help relieve the effects of stress and anxiety. Melatonin targets sleep maintenance, which means it helps to ensure the sleep-wake cycle is intact and regulated. It is naturally made by the body as a hormone, however, many factors can contribute to a drop in sufficient levels, like aging, stress, anxiety, imbalanced diet, irregular sleep time, or shift work. Magnesium and Vitamin B6 help with overall sleep quality. The former relaxes the muscles of the body, to induce deeper, better-quality sleep. Studies have shown that a lifestyle where sleep time is often irregular naturally increases the body’s excretion of Magnesium, leading to deficiency. Magnesium supplementation therefore helps to improve sleep time, light sleep/onset latency, early morning awakening, and insomnia. Vitamin B6 plays a significant role in reducing psychological distress, which often causes sleep disturbances.

Recommended Use: Helps reset the body's sleep-wake cycle (the aspect of the circadian rhythm) and increase the total sleep time (the aspect of sleep quality) in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g. shift work); prevent and/or reduce the effects of jet lag/minimize jet lag (e.g. daytime fatigue, sleep disturbance); speed up/reduce the time it takes to fall asleep (sleep onset latency aspect of sleep quality) in people who fall asleep slowly/with delayed sleep phase disorder; and temporarily promote relaxation. Helps in energy metabolism and tissue formation.
Recommended Dosage: Take 1 sachet 1 time per day. It can be taken at any time of the day. Shake well before use to mix contents before consumption. To take this supplement, gently squeeze the contents of the sachet into your mouth.
Cautions and Warnings: Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners; if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), or if
symptoms persist or worsen.
Contraindications: Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
